Place mats anyone?

I have a couple of small changes to make but I am very pleased with the overall look and feel of these place mats! I made the top of the mats with Robert Kaufmann fabrics and finished them with some heavy duty duck canvas . Be on the lookout for some of these in different colors in my Etsy shop soon. I am very excited to get moving with them in some fun spring and summer colors!

A couple more

Here's a couple more baby burp cloths. I really wanted to get several colors and themes done before I moved on to other items. I think sometimes it's hard to know what you like until you see it! I love that these can easily be monogramed to add some great personalization. Email me if you are interested in adding this awesome touch. Enjoy!

Finally

Finally, some exciting updates. I know this may seem small to some of you but I am very excited to say that I just posted two new items in The Shop. Its my first time adding my patchwork items and even though they are small feats, they are still a big accomplishment of mine!! I have much bigger plans in store but I wanted to get a couple things made to get my mind in order. Hopefully over the next two weeks there will be an explosion of items for you to look though! Let me know what you think!

Bit of Patchwork...Finally

Its baby season around here. Here's a sneak preview of some of the baby gifts I am working on. These are going to be finished with a bit of monograming and its done. As soon as all of these small projects are completed I am moving on. Moving on to what? I'm not 100% sure where I am going to start but I can't get these ideas out of my head and I have to get them together so I can see them in action! Can't wait!

Toddler Smocks!

So, not patchwork. I know. But, I am a sucker for little girl gifts. Here's my variation of the toddler smock found in this great book. If you don't have it, get it. Its got tons of great projects. Some are very easy, some are a bit more challenging but all are useful and fun. All of the patterns are included so you don't even have to copy then from the book-just cut out and sew!
I did one without the "brush holder" on the front and the other with it. Also, I added a plastic lining to them because, lets be honest, if it requires a smock and a toddler, its not going to be clean.

Wish brush holder.....

And without....

Inspiration

I saw these on another blog some time ago and have just gotten around to ordering one myself. I am so in love with it and REALLY didn't even want to take it out of the roll. I just love the fresh colors and all the possibility that it brings. I have started two projects with it and can't wait to show you post the end result. Goals this week include getting some items finished up to post in my ETSY shop. I have been so busy and finally have some time coming up over the next several weeks to get some projects done. Make sure you check back later to see what's new!!
